A Santorini yacht wedding with us is the whole catamaran for five hours, starting 10:30 or 15:30, with up to 17 guests aboard. We host the ceremony on deck, cook a meal on board and sail the caldera. Charters start at €1,600; send your date and guest number for the figure.
This is a charter page, not a wedding-venue page. What follows is what the boat can do for five hours, what it cannot do, and where the line between us and your planner sits.
The short version: we supply a deck, a route, a crew and a meal. The legal part of getting married in Greece is not ours to handle.

Morning wedding or sunset wedding, hour by hour
The same boat, the same five hours, two very different days. The column that matters most is the last but one: what is left of the day afterwards.

Every clock time above is a July figure. Sunset in Santorini moves from about 20:40 on 1 July to about 19:03 on 1 October, and both ends of a sunset charter move with it. The times on your confirmation are the ones that apply.
What the boat can do
A catamaran is a wide, flat, stable platform. Two people can stand facing each other on the foredeck and everyone aboard can see them.
- A ceremony on deck, at anchor or under sail, held wherever on the route you want it held.
- Up to 17 guests, with two or three crew working around them.
- Swimming stops on the south coast and at the hot springs, sea state permitting.
- A meal cooked on board while you are in the water, and eaten on deck afterwards.
- Santorini wine, beer and water, included.
- A car for every guest, hotel to boat and back again.
- The sunset from the water, if you take the 15:30 slot.
- Crew who will take photographs on your own phone and then get out of the frame.
What the boat cannot do
We are not a celebrant. Nobody in the crew can marry you. Whoever conducts your ceremony comes aboard as one of your 17 guests.
We do not arrange the paperwork. A legal ceremony in Greece needs an authorised celebrant and the correct documents. That is a wedding planner's job, and it is handled well before anyone gets near a boat. A symbolic ceremony on deck is a far simpler thing, and it is what a catamaran is genuinely good at.
We are not a reception venue. Seventeen is the ceiling, not a starting point. If your guest list is larger, tell us early and we will say so plainly rather than squeeze.
We do not publish a list of extras. Flowers, an arch, a cake, a hired photographer: what we can and cannot carry is not something we have set out, so ask on WhatsApp before you promise it to anyone.
We cannot fly a drone for you. The caldera sits in controlled airspace and launching from a boat is not a way round that. Assume no drone unless your operator holds written authorisation.
How a wedding charter gets agreed
- Send the date and the number of guestsThose two numbers decide almost everything else. WhatsApp is quickest, and a person reads it.
- We say yes or no to the date, then quoteOne boat, one charter a slot. If the date is gone we will tell you within the day rather than hold you.
- Your planner handles the legal sideThe celebrant and the documents are arranged ashore, on their timetable, not ours. We do not touch that part.
- We fix the hour the ceremony happensRoughly, not to the minute. The captain needs room to move the anchorage if the wind has other ideas.
- On the morning, the captain reads the seaIf it is not safe he cancels, and a weather cancellation is refunded in full. He may also swap the order of the stops.

Every other cruise we run has its number printed on it, and you can read them all on prices. A wedding charter does not, and we would rather say why than invent a figure.
The day depends on the date, the guest count and what you need the boat to carry. Quoting a number before we know those three things would mean revising it later, which is the last thing anyone planning a wedding wants.

Common questions
Can I get married on a boat in Greece?
A legal ceremony at sea in Greece needs an authorised celebrant and the correct paperwork, and that is handled by a wedding planner rather than by the boat. A symbolic ceremony on deck is much simpler. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly what we can host.
How many guests can attend a yacht wedding?
Seventeen at most on a private charter, plus two or three crew. We sell a private charter to 17, so a wedding with us is a small ceremony rather than a reception. If your list is longer than 17, tell us early.
What does a Santorini yacht wedding charter cost?
Wedding charters start at €1,600 for the whole boat and five hours. It is a floor rather than a flat rate, because the date and the number of guests both move it. Send us both on WhatsApp and we will send back the figure for that day.
Should we have a special dress code?
Plan the outfits around a barefoot deck and wind. There are no hard-soled shoes on this boat, the foredeck is warm underfoot by eleven, and anything long will find the breeze. A light layer matters more on the sunset charter, once the sun has gone.
Do you help with photos?
The crew take photographs and video on your own phone at the moment that matters, and they are used to standing where they will not be in the frame. Whether we can arrange a professional photographer as an add-on is not something we publish, so ask us first.
Can I fly a drone from the boat?
The Santorini caldera is a no-fly zone and the water surface sits in controlled airspace, so launching from a boat is not a workaround. Vessel-based flights need prior authorisation from the Greek civil aviation authority, with weeks of notice. Assume no drone unless you hold written approval.
What happens if the wind gets up on the day?
The captain decides on the morning whether the sea is safe. If he cancels, you move to another date or take a full refund. He may also change the route or the order of the stops. Tell us early that it is a wedding and we plan the day with more slack in it.
