5.0 on Google

Santorini boat tour reviews: 5.0 from 26, on Google

Our Santorini boat tour reviews sit on our Google Business Profile: 5.0 from 26 reviews. We do not reprint any of them on this site. The four testimonials the old site carried were deleted because none could be traced to this business, and we have not replaced them with words of our own.

This is the page where an operator normally shows you five stars and a big number. We have nothing we can stand behind, so we are showing you the reasoning instead, and where to go and look for yourself.

Why the reviews are on Google and not on this page

There are 26 of them, averaging 5.0, and every one is on our Google profile rather than retyped here.

A review is worth something because of where it sits. On Google it has an author, a date, and a page where anyone can count the others and read the ones we would not have chosen. Retyped onto our own site it has none of that, and you would be reading whichever ones we liked.

That matters here more than it does for most operators. We deleted four testimonials when we rebuilt this site in 2026. Not one carried a platform, a date or a link. One of the four signed itself off by thanking a different company by name — that company is not us, and its brand was sitting in the old site's structured data, which is how a review of somebody else's boat ended up on our homepage.

The old markup also carried a star rating and a review count that nothing supported, contradicted twice over elsewhere on the same page. All of it is gone. The 5.0 from 26 you see now is the figure on the Google profile linked below, and it is the only rating this site's markup claims.

So the link is the page. Go and count them.

How to read a Santorini boat-tour review

Worth saying even though we have none. Most of the reviews you read before you book are for other operators, and most of them tell you less than they appear to.

A review that mentions the wind is a review from a real day. Santorini blows. In July and August the meltemi can run for days, and captains reroute, reorder the stops, or stand the boat down. A review that says the order changed and the day still worked tells you how an operator behaves when the plan breaks. That is the thing you actually want to know. A page of reviews with no weather anywhere in it is either a very calm month or a filtered page.

"The crew were lovely" is worth almost nothing. It is true of nearly every crew on this island, it cannot be checked, and it would sit there whatever had happened. "We were back on the quay at 15:05" is worth a great deal. It is specific, it is checkable against the times the operator sold you, and only somebody who was there writes it.

A four-star review with a named complaint beats a five-star review with none. It shows you the bad version of the day: swell at the second stop, a wait for the transfer, music you did not choose. It also shows you the reviews are not being screened. Read what the complaint is about. A slow lunch is a small thing. A captain who cut the day short is not.

Count the people. Ask how many guests were on board. "Small group" is a marketing phrase, not a number: fifteen and twenty-five are both sold that way, and a big volcano boat carrying forty to eighty is sold as a cruise.

Check the month. A flat-water review from May tells you little about an afternoon departure in August. Reviews cluster in the calm weeks, because that is when everybody sails and everybody has a good time.

Watch for a review that thanks the wrong company. In a market this small, with this many near-identical names, it happens. It happened here, on our own old site, which is the reason this page exists.

If you sailed with us

Leave a review on Google and it joins the 26 already there. We do not moderate it, we do not reprint it here, and we cannot take it down. That is the point of it sitting on their platform rather than on ours.

If it is four stars and says the transfer was late, it stays up alongside the rest.

Why we would rather point than reprint

A testimonial you cannot source is not evidence. It is decoration. Keeping those four would have made this page look better and told you nothing true, and one of them would have been a lie about who you were reading about.

Everything else on this site can be checked the same way: the prices, the times, the capacity and the policies are on prices and in the FAQ, in numbers, and the rating above is one click from the place you can count it yourself.

Common questions

Why are the reviews not reprinted on this page?

Because a review is worth something because of where it sits. On Google each one has an author, a date, and neighbours we did not choose. Retyped here they would be whichever ones flattered us. There are 26, averaging 5.0, and the link above takes you to all of them.

What is your rating on Google?

5.0 from 26 reviews on Google, as of August 2026. We publish the count and the average here and nothing else, because the copy that counts is the one Google holds — each review there has an author, a date and neighbours we did not choose. It is one click away in the table above.

Are you on Tripadvisor?

Not that we can find. A sweep in August 2026 turned up no Tripadvisor, Trustpilot, GetYourGuide or Viator listing under our name. If you find one that looks like us, check the phone number against ours before you trust it. Names in this market repeat.

How do I leave you a review?

Use the Google link in the table above. It opens the review box on our profile directly. A sentence about what actually happened is more use to the next reader than five stars on their own, so mention the date and which cruise you took.
