Santorini honeymoon cruise: the whole boat, two of you
The same catamaran and the same €1,200 whether there are two of you or eight. Five hours, lunch cooked on deck, a car both ways, and a crew who stay out of your afternoon.
€1,200 covers 8, then €100 each · 10:30 or 15:30, five hours · The whole boat
A Santorini honeymoon cruise with us is a private catamaran charter: five hours from 10:30 or 15:30, €1,200 for the boat, then €100 for each guest above eight. Two people pay the same €1,200 as eight, because you are buying the boat rather than the seats. Lunch, wine and hotel transfers are inside that price.
Most honeymoon pages in this niche sell you petals. This one starts with the arithmetic, because the arithmetic is the part people get wrong.
The facts, in one table
| Detail | |
|---|---|
| Times | 10:30 or 15:30, five hours. Times shift through the season with the sun. |
| Price | €1,200 for the boat, up to 8 guests. €100 for each guest after that. |
| Two guests | Still €1,200. The price is for the catamaran, not for the seats on it. |
| Boat | Lagoon sailing catamaran, two or three crew. Wide and level, with shade and room to move. |
| Departure | Vlychada Marina, on the south coast. The included car collects you from your hotel and brings you back, so you never have to find it. |
| Route | The south coast, the lighthouse, the volcano and the hot springs — but on a private boat you say how long to stay at each stop, and which to skip. |
| Food | Cooked on board while you swim: BBQ chicken and shrimp, Greek salad, pasta, vine leaf rolls and the dips. |
| Drinks | Santorini wine, beer and water, in the price. |
| Transfer | Car from your hotel to the boat and back, included. |
| Cancellation | Agreed with your booking, because the whole boat is held for you. A weather cancellation by the captain is refunded in full. |
| Meeting point | Your exact meeting point is confirmed with your booking. The transfer is included, so you do not have to find it. |
Morning honeymoon or sunset honeymoon
Both slots are five hours, both cost €1,200, and both cover the same coast. The difference is the light, the wind, and what is left of your evening.
| 10:30 start | 15:30 start | |
|---|---|---|
| The light | High and hard until you turn for home. The colour comes off the water and the cliffs rather than the sky. | The caldera wall lit from the west, then an hour where the sky does all the work. |
| The wind | The flattest part of the day. The meltemi is a northerly that builds through the afternoon and eases in the early evening. | The windiest part of the day, and the usual reason a captain reorders the stops. |
| The water | Roughly 22 °C in June and 24 °C in August — a monthly average, not a morning figure. | The same numbers. What changes is the air on your skin when you climb out at 19:00. |
| Other boats | Every boat on the island is at the same stops between 11:00 and 13:00. | The swimming stops empty out as the fleet turns for Oia. |
| The meal | Lunch cooked on deck while you swim at the volcano, around 13:00. | Cooked later and eaten as the light goes. |
| How it ends | Ashore by about 15:30, with the whole evening still in front of you. | Ashore by about 20:30, and the day is finished. Book dinner late, or not at all. |
| Take this one if | One of you goes quiet on a ferry, you want the warmer swims, or you already hold a dinner reservation. | The light on the caldera is the reason you came to Santorini. |
Departure times move through the season because the sun does. The time on your confirmation is the one that applies.
Two people on a boat built for seventeen
This is the part worth being blunt about, because nobody else in the category will be.
The price does not fall because there are two of you. A private catamaran is €1,200 for up to eight guests. Two people pay €1,200. Eight people pay €1,200. You are buying the boat, not the seats.
So the honest comparison is not with another honeymoon package. It is with two seats on the semi-private sunset cruise at €100 each: the same catamaran, the same coast, the same food off the same grill, with up to 13 other people aboard. €200 against €1,200.
What the difference buys. The crew stay out of your afternoon. No one else's music, no one else's children, no one in the background of a photograph. You decide how long to stay in the water at each stop and whether to skip one. If you want to lie on the trampoline for forty minutes without speaking to anybody, nothing stops you.
What it does not buy. A different boat, a different coastline, a better lunch, or anything that is not already on the inclusions list below. It is the same day with fewer people in it. That is worth a great deal to some couples and very little to others, and only you know which you are.
When it is worth it, and when it is not
Worth it if being alone is the actual point. Some couples want a day they do not have to be polite through. That is a real thing to buy, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Worth it if your dates are tight. A private charter runs on your clock: your start time, your stops, your idea of when lunch happens. A shared cruise runs on the boat's.
Not worth it if the money is better spent elsewhere. Two seats on the shared sunset cruise cost €200 and cover the same water. Nobody on that boat is watching you. Spend the difference on the dinner afterwards.
Not worth it for the photographs alone. If a photographer is the reason, the photoshoot cruise is built for it. Our crew will take pictures on your phone, gladly, but they are crew rather than photographers.
We provide the boat, the crew, the route and the timing. Flowers, a cake, a photographer or a particular bottle are things you or your planner arrange. Tell us a week or two ahead and we will make room for them, keep them cold, or keep the deck clear. Ask on the morning and we probably cannot.

Common questions
Is this cruise good for couples or celebrations?
A private charter is the usual choice for couples: five hours at €1,200 for the boat, whether two of you sail or eight. For two people who do not need the boat to themselves, the €100 per person semi-private sunset cruise covers exactly the same route and the same meal.
Should I take a morning or sunset cruise?
Morning for calmer, clearer water and warmer swims, and for anyone who gets seasick — the wind in a Santorini summer builds through the afternoon. Sunset for the caldera lit from the west and a meal eaten as the light goes. Both slots are five hours and both cost the same.
How much is a private honeymoon cruise for two people?
€1,200. That is the price of the catamaran for five hours, and it covers up to eight guests, so two people pay what eight would. Hotel transfers, lunch cooked on board, Santorini wine, beer, water, snorkelling gear and towels are all inside that number.
Do you offer a honeymoon package with flowers and champagne?
No. We sell the boat, the crew, the route and the timing, and we do not resell anything else at a mark-up. Santorini wine and beer are in the price. Flowers, a cake or a particular bottle you bring aboard yourself, and we will make room for them if you tell us first.
What happens if the weather cancels our day?
The captain decides on the morning whether the sea is safe. If he cancels, you move to another date or take a full refund. He may instead change the route or the order of the stops, which is a judgement about the water rather than about the schedule.
How far in advance should we book a honeymoon cruise?
As early as you can for July and August, when the whole Santorini fleet fills weeks ahead. May, June, September and early October usually need one to two weeks. Private charters hold their availability a little longer than shared seats, but sunset slots go first in every month.
