5-hour sunset semi-private sailing cruise, departing at 3:00 PM and returning at sunset, with a maximum of 15 passengers on board. A sunset sailing experience awaits as you explore the caldera of Santorini by sea. This sailing cruise is offered as a semi-private (shared) boat tour, allowing guests to enjoy a social yet spacious experience.
The cruise takes place aboard a luxurious Lagoon sailing catamaran measuring 44ft / 13.6m in length and over 7m wide. Although the vessel is licensed to carry up to 20 passengers, we limit the number of guests to 15 to ensure comfort, space, and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the journey.
Sail past Santorini’s most iconic coastal landmarks, swim in the famous volcanic hot springs, and admire the spectacular Santorini sunset from the deck of the catamaran. While on board, enjoy freshly prepared Greek cuisine flavours paired with local wine, creating a memorable dining experience at sea.
This sailing tour departs from Vlychada at 14:30, the fisherman’s refuge of Santorini and the closest location to a marina on the island. We sail south toward Red Beach, where we stop for swimming and photos, before continuing past White Beach.
The route then takes us toward Mesa Pigadia in Akrotiri, followed by a sail past the Akrotiri Lighthouse and into the caldera, offering stunning views of the volcano directly ahead. At the volcano hot springs, we anchor for swimming while our crew prepares a freshly cooked lunch.
After the hot springs stop, we visit the island of Thirasia. On the return journey, you’ll enjoy distant views of Ammoudi in Oia and the Old Port of Fira before sailing back to Vlychada. The sunset is viewed from Akrotiri, Santorini’s southernmost point.
The Sailing Cruises do not include hiking on the Volcano & All the Boats anchor offshore, The boats are not allowed to go near a beach without proper docking infrastructure. Disclaimer:
